Scott A. Merriam is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of TrustServe and has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Scott’s passion for process improvement has compelled him throughout his career to learn and leverage technology to develop automation while increasing accuracy, improving timeliness and enhancing internal controls. In the quest for automation and efficiency, Scott has worked with software developers, IT infrastructure support, business analysts and project managers to develop software and automate processes to service his clients.
Prior to co-founding TrustServe, Scott served as the Vice President of Private Equity Services at SS&C ALPS, leading a business unit that specializes in servicing private equity, real estate, credit and family office clients with closed-end fund structures. Scott works closely with clients on all aspects of their business including: fund formation, fund compliance, fund administration, automation, reporting and waterfall modeling.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Endicott College. Scott is a Certified Management Accountant and a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.
